Cheese Dip with Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Ingredients
• 2 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
• 1 small onion
• 3 cloves garlic
• 1 jalapeño
• 16 oz. American cheese
• 1 c. milk
• Salt
• Black pepper
• 1 medium tomato
• 1 can green chilis
• Cilantro
• Lime
• Tortilla chips
Preparation
1. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat extra virgin olive oil. Add onion and cook until soft, 5 minutes.
2. Add garlic and jalapeño and cook until fragrant, 1 minute more.
3. Add cheeses and milk and stir until cheese is melted.
4. Season with salt and pepper. Stir in tomatoes, green chilis, lime and cilantro.
5. Serve immediately with chips!
