Avocado lime cream
Ingredients (4 pax)
• 3 ripe avocados
• 2 tbsps of Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Spain for the cream (then drizzle on top for the final touch)
• 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
• 1 tsp chopped cilantro
• 1 garlic clove
• 2 small chopped jalapeños
• 1/4 tsp sea salt
• dash of black pepper
• natural tortilla chips
• snipped fresh chives
Preparation
1. Cut the avocados in halfs, remove the stones and peel. Blend the avocados with the lime juice, garlic, sea salt and pepper. Blend until you achieve a light, pale green creamy consistency.
2. Put the cream in a bowl cover and chill until it is ready to serve.
3. Serve as a dip with tortilla chips or crackers. Perfect as an appertizer or snack. Don’t forget to add the final touches of drizzling Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Spain on the top and then scattering the snipped chives, cilantro and jalapeños as topping.
